Serie A: Cremonese vs. Napoli – probable line-ups and where to watch on TV
Antonio Conte won’t change the formation that won the Supercoppa Italiana earlier this week, with Giovanni Di Lorenzo in central defence and Rasmus Hojlund in attack against Jamie Vardy’s Cremonese.
It kicks off at 15:00 CET (14:00 GMT) at the Stadio Zini in Verona.
Napoli’s Sam Beukema, Mathias Olivera and Romelu Lukaku have not travelled with the team, and Alex Meret, Kevin De Bruyne, Billy Gilmour and Frank Zambo Anguissa are still injured.
Gazzetta, Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport and other reputable Italian sources claim that Conte won’t touch the XI that won the Supercoppa in Riyadh earlier this week.
This means Alessandro Buongiorno will start on the bench, while Matteo Politano will get the nod as a right midfielder.
Hojlund will lead the Napoli attack with David Neres and Eljif Elmas playing as attacking midfielders.
Cremonese will look to Vardy and Federico Bonazzoli in attack. Federico Ceccherini is suspended, but Matteo Bianchetti has recovered from an injury and will start in a three-man defence.
