Paul O’Keefe makes claim about Tottenham’s interest in Man City star
Over recent days, it has emerged that Spurs are plotting an ambitious move for Omar Marmoush if they miss out on Semenyo, which they have done.
However, it was explained that Man City would be reluctant to sell the Egyptian international, even though he has struggled to get into their starting eleven this season.
It has also been reported that Tottenham could reignite their interest in Savinho after missing out on the Brazilian in the summer.
O’Keefe has now suggested on social media that the Lilywhites are more likely to sign the Brazilian than Marmoush.
Man City’s stance on Savinho has changed
Tottenham tried until summer transfer deadline day to strike a deal for Savinho, but Man City refused to budge on their stance.
It was claimed by journalist Pete O’Rourke a few days ago that Man City are likely to be more receptive to an offer for Savinho in January.
However, O’Rourke suggested that it may take a ‘huge offer’ to get the 21-year-old out of the Etihad Stadium mid-season.
