Juventus track Frattesi as Inter hold firm on €35m valuation
Juventus remain attentive to the situation surrounding Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi, whose future in Milan appears increasingly uncertain.
According to CalcioMercato, Juventus are keeping a close eye on the Italian, who has yet to rediscover his old form in his limited minutes this season.
Frattesi has struggled to secure a central role at Inter, even following the tactical reshuffle introduced under new head coach Cristian Chivu. With competition in midfield intensifying, the Italy international’s standing has slipped further, fuelling speculation over a potential departure.
Inter have made their position clear. The club value Frattesi between €30m and €35m and have no intention of offering discounts, particularly to domestic rivals. Talks with Juventus remain complicated, with no agreement reached on potential player exchanges.
Spalletti arrival at Juventus paves way for Inter outcast Frattesi
Interest from Turin has grown since the appointment of Luciano Spalletti, who previously brought out the best in Frattesi at international level. The Juventus coach sees the midfielder as an ideal fit to inject dynamism and goals into his midfield.
From abroad, concrete interest has been limited. Fenerbahçe have made enquiries, but a move to Turkey does not currently appeal to the player, who would prefer to remain in Italy and reunite with Spalletti.
The Nerazzurri would only consider a deal involving Khéphren Thuram, an option Juventus have firmly rejected. Andrea Cambiaso has also been appreciated in Milan, particularly following Denzel Dumfries’ injury, but the Bianconeri regard the full-back as untouchable.
For now, Frattesi’s future remains unresolved. What appears increasingly clear, however, is that his long-term path is set to lead away from San Siro.
