Man United striker attracts Cardiff City loan interest after meeting head coach
Manchester United could be super active in sending their academy starlets on loan in the winter transfer window.
According to reliable insider Sully Talkz, Cardiff City are pushing to sign Man United forward Gabriele Biancheri on a six-month loan in January.
Biancheri has already visited the Cardiff training ground and has even met head coach Brian Barry-Murphy in recent weeks.
The 19-year-old is open to a move to the League One side as his family also live there.
The Wales youth international initially arrived at Carrington from Cardiff City in 2023, making a potential return something of a homecoming.
Biancheri has been an established figure for the United U21s this campaign.
Naturally a centre-forward, the versatile attacker has also impressed when deployed as a second striker or drifting in from the left flank.
He has featured eight times in Premier League 2 this campaign, delivering an eye-catching return of four goals and three assists.
At Under-18 level, his numbers are even more striking, with 34 goals scored in just 49 appearances for the Red Devils.
Cardiff currently sit proudly at the summit of the League One table, holding a four-point cushion over second-placed Bradford City.
They will hope that Biancheri can help them maintain their momentum and secure automatic promotion.
While much of the spotlight has fallen on teenage sensation Chido Obi, Biancheri has quietly and impressively developed into a far more complete forward.
A January loan move appears the logical next step, offering him the chance to test himself in senior football and sharpen his competitive edge.
