Are you enjoying this season or last season more?
I think the obvious answer is this season, as the stakes are higher and we’re playing better teams, but is it really that simple?
Last season was record-breaking, but in hindsight some of the games felt a little anti-climactic.
This season, I’d say the matches have left me feeling either really jubilant (Ipswich [penalty aside], Blackburn away, the home consecutive 4-0 wins), or pretty frustrated, mostly due to our away performances.
The irony is that we’re not actually having a bad season. The automatics were probably always a bit out of reach, and we’ve only been a few points or places away from 6th, yet I still feel like I shouldn't be getting as frustrated in the games we haven't performed in.
