Heung-min Son says one Tottenham star hasn’t even texted him since he left N17
Heung-min Son had a funny exchange with a former Tottenham teammate after questioning why he had not texted him over the past six months.
While Spurs fans were delighted to see their side pick up three points against Slavia Prague, the night was special for another reason.
Son got a rousing reception at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as he returned to his former home for the first time since joining LAFC in the summer.
The former Spurs captain admitted that it felt like a homecoming as he got an opportunity to say a proper goodbye to the Tottenham faithful and meet his old teammates.

While catching up with his old teammates, the 33-year-old poked fun at Tottenham youngster Archie Gray.
He accused the Leeds academy graduate of not texting him since he left the club, to which the midfielder had a funny response.
Son said: “Ever since I left, not one text. Not one text,” to which Gray responded: “Do you want me to explain why? Do you want to know why? Somebody has a new number. New number, who dis?”
Son then said: “He can text me on Instagram,” but Gray came back with another witty remark: “It goes to his requests.”

Son is an inspiration to current Spurs players
After his reunion with the former Tottenham captain, Mathys Tel admitted that Son is always texting him and offering him help, labelling him a ‘big legend’ at the club.
Xavi Simons expressed his desire to live up to the legacy of Son’s number seven shirt after meeting the forward for the first time.
The 33-year-old’s return may have been short-lived, but it seems to have galvanised the dressing room and brought back a feel-good factor to the club.
