The latest NIRSA Wellbeing Briefing explores student staff culture

The Wellbeing Briefing Work Group of NIRSA’s Health & Wellbeing Task Force recently shared the latest issue of the Wellbeing Briefing. Take a few minutes this week to invest in and reflect on resources to build a culture of wellbeing at your place of work, through the curated articles and other resources shared in the December 2025 issue of the newsletter.

About the Wellbeing Briefing

This quarterly email briefing is aimed at educating, communicating, sharing, and connecting members to new and existing resources in the wellbeing space.

The December 2025 issue highlights several articles, success stories, resources, and some ideas of how to move ideas into action, including their video interview with Taylor Koon, SEE Senior Specialist at the Ohio State University to discuss the Student Employment Experience Learning Assessment (SEELA) program and the Guided Reflection on Work (GROW) program at the Ohio State University! Get ideas for enriching your student employment experience.

Promising Practices

Promising Practices are collaborative or integrated wellbeing initiatives and campus-wide efforts that—driven and realized by the efforts of campus recreation staff and leaders—support the campus community. Explore the learnings from 10 leading schools online at www.nirsa.org/promising.

Support from the NIRSA Foundation

Thanks to NIRSA Foundation donors for their continued support of NIRSA’s wellbeing work! Individual donations made to the NIRSA Foundation in 2025 will be matched up to $75,000 for the Association’s 75th Anniversary.

  • If you have questions how to ensure the Wellbeing Briefing reaches your inbox, please contact NIRSA Communications Director Simon Bravo.
