Giants Rule Out Star Defender For ‘Monday Night Football’ Vs. Patriots

The New York Giants will be getting rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart back from a two-game absence in Week 13 on “Monday Night Football” vs. the New England Patriots.

Big Blue will be without star linebacker Kayvon Thibodeau for the primetime showdown, however.

“GIANTS WEEK 13 GAME STATUSES Out: OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux (Shoulder) Questionable: CB Korie Black (Biceps) LB Swayze Bozeman (Hip) OLB Victor Dimukeje (Knee) LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (Neck/Knee),” Giants.com senior managing editor Dan Salomone posted on X Saturday afternoon.

This will be the third straight missed game for the former fifth overall pick.

Thibodeaux is still third on the team in quarterback hits (nine) and tackles for loss (five), while ranking tied for third in sacks (2.5) despite the missed time.

With Dart back under center and New England set to be down rookie left tackle Will Campbell (knee) for the contest, some NFL experts have picked New York to pull off an upset.

The Giants have lost six in a row and have the worst record in the NFC at 2-10. The Patriots have won nine straight games and have the best mark in the NFL.
