Peter Crouch makes exciting prediction about one Tottenham star after breakthrough evening

Peter Crouch believes that one Tottenham man will go from strength to strength after his performance in the Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

Thomas Frank rang the changes to Tottenham’s starting eleven on the back of their thrashing in the North London derby.

Pape Sarr, Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, Pedro Porro and Randal Kolo Muani came into the starting line-up, with the French striker partnering Richarlison upfront in a 4-2-2-2 formation.

Kolo Muani opened his account in front of goal for Tottenham, netting a brace against his parent club and proving a point to Luis Enrique.

The 26-year-old has struggled with injuries since the start of the season and has only started getting a run of starts over the last few weeks.

Crouch believes that the brace will boost Kolo Muani’s confidence and suggested that the striker could now string together a strong run of performances.

The former Spurs striker told TNT Sports 3 (26/11/25) about the on-loan PSG man: “His confidence will grow. I just think these couple of goals, especially away in Paris, will do him the world of good. Loads of confidence and hopefully he can now build upon it from here on in.”

The number nine area no longer looks like a problem for Spurs

It is funny how much can change in just a few days or weeks in football. It had been widely reported until recently that Tottenham would prioritise signing a striker in January.

However, Richarlison seems to have found his goalscoring boots again, and Kolo Muani now appears to be getting with each outing.

Additionally, Mathys Tel has also shown some promise of late, while Dominic Solanke is now edging closer to full fitness.

Unless Spurs let one of the four go in January, signing a centre-forward no longer appears to be an urgent need.
