Patriots’ Mike Vrabel Made Notable Change After Win

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel started something of a tradition earlier this season.

Vrabel, in an effort to help establish a winning culture, celebrates every victory by greeting each member of his roster before they walk back into the locker room — with the club’s social media team sharing video of those celebrations each week.

It’ll look a bit different this week, though.

Vrabel didn’t wait outside the locker rooms at Paycor Stadium, but instead ran straight inside to presumably to check on injured offensive linemen Will Campbell and Jared Wilson, and special teamer Brenden Schooler, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

Campbell (knee) and Wilson (ankle) were both carted off the field amid the club’s victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Schooler (ankle) walked to the locker room under his own power, but did not return.

Wilson and Schooler were both seen wearing walking boots following the game, according to Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald. Campbell was not seen during media access.

Vrabel was relatively quiet regarding the injuries, with an update expected on Monday when the team returns to Gillette Stadium.
