Rabiot gives extra push in an attempt to make it in time for Inter vs. Milan
Tuesday’s reports claim that Adrien Rabiot has been taking on extra training sessions while the rest of the squad have been off in an attempt to return to full fitness in time for the Derby della Madonnina between Inter and Milan on Sunday.
Rabiot has not featured for the Rossoneri since the 0-0 draw with Juventus on October 5. The Frenchman reported for international duty the following week, but picked up an injury to his soleus and has missed over a month of action since then.
Rabiot, one of Max Allegri’s most trusted weapons. The Rossoneri picked up 10 points from the four Serie A games that Rabiot has played this season, and only conceded once over that period in a challenging run of fixtures against Bologna, Udinese, Napoli and Juventus.

Given his status within the Milan camp, there is no wonder why Allegri is keen to have him back in time to feature against Inter in a special Derby della Madonnina, which could potentially see either side claim the lead of the Serie A table.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Rabiot trained individually at Milanello on Monday, while the rest of the squad have either been on international duty or have been given a few extra days off, in an attempt to be fit enough to play against Inter on Sunday.
Tuesday’s report claims that Rabio will be in the squad for the Derby on Sunday, but it remains to be seen whether he will be fit enough to start.
