QUEEN’S PARK FC would like to welcome Declan Tobin to Sean Crighton’s coaching team.
Declan joins the staff as performance analyst and has previously held similar roles at Rangers, Hearts and most recently St Johnstone. His first match with Queen’s Park will, by coincidence, be a return to his former club tomorrow.
Declan replaces Conor Flanagan who has left the Spiders to take up an opportunity in the William Hill Premiership.
After two and a half years with the club, Conor has taken a post with Livingston FC and moves on with the thanks and best wishes of all QPFC staff, including head coach Sean Crighton.
He said: “Conor has been absolutely first-class for this club and even again as he moved on, helping me bring in someone with experience and who knows the job inside out.
“He will be a miss. He’d been at the club a while and was brilliant in his role, and we wish him all the best at one of my previous clubs, they will look after him.
“We are sad to see him go but it was important for Conor I had a really good replacement and we are delighted to have Declan on board and I am looking forward to working with him.”
