Red Sox Announce 2026 Spring Training Schedule
The 2025 MLB season just ended, but it’s already time to start looking ahead to 2026.
Spring training is still three months away, but the Boston Red Sox released their spring training schedule for 2026 on Wednesday.
The Red Sox’s first spring training game is their annual exhibition game against Northeastern University at their spring training facility in Fort Myers, Florida, on Friday, Feb. 20. Boston has never lost to Northeastern and will look to extend its undefeated streak against the Huskies next year.
The Red Sox play their first Major League spring training game the following day on the road against the Minnesota Twins, and have a game virtually every day after that for roughly a month. Their only off day is Wednesday, March 11.
Boston’s spring schedule features two games against the New York Yankees on Wednesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 18. The Red Sox’s final spring training game will be a road game against the Twins on Tuesday, March 24, two days before their regular season opener against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park.
Boston’s home games will be played at JetBlue Park at Fenway South, which has been the team’s spring training home since 2012.
