Owen Davies treble as Reserves hit six

THREE goals from Owen Davies helped Colwyn Bay Reserves win 6-3 against NFA FC U23s at the Blue Turtle Arena.

The young Seagulls led 5-1 at half-time with Owen opening the scoring after only three minutes.

Two goals from Ben Roberts (16 and 23) made it 3-0, and although the visitors pulled a goal back through Aiden Bell, Owen Davies scored his second of the night two minutes before the break.

Owen added his third mid-way through the second half to make it 6-1 before NFA scored two late goals to reduce the arrears to 6-3.

The win moves Colwyn Bay back into the top three of the FAW National Reserve League North.
