Terry Rozier Owed The IRS How Much?! You Won’t Believe It

If you didn’t think Terry Rozier’s story couldn’t get any more anxiety inducing, think again.

As Rozier faces allegations in an FBI led gambling probe the former Celtics star also faces unpaid taxes to the IRS. $8 million worth to be exact.

ESPN reports that Rozier has an $8,218,211 lien in Florida against him from November 2023. Yes two years before he even was exposed to have allegedly told friends he would leave NBA games early so they should bet the under on his props.

$8 million is a lot of money, for anyone as rich as an NBA player or someone with a normal amount of income. But it is crazy to think that someone that has made over $160 million over the course of their NBA career, over $20 million the last two seasons each, would not pay up for what the IRS knows they owe.

The NBA has placed Rozier on leave after he became one of 34 defendants arrested last week.
