Derry City v Shamrock Rovers – Event Information

As City host Shamrock Rovers in the final home game of the 2025 season, we would like to draw the attention of supporters to the following guidance.  As the game is live on Virgin Media and with a large crowd expected, we ask supporters to arrive in plenty of time to access the stadium

Foyle Foodbank volunteers will be accepting donations of non-perishable goods and nappies at all entry points.  They will also be accepting donations by cash or card.  If you would like to make a donation outside of this time, please check out their website and social media channels.  Derry City FC supports this worthy cause which will help struggling families during the Christmas period.

Arriving at the game

  • Plan your journey in good time, as traffic flows will differ to usual Friday night fixtures
  • Respect the residents of the Brandywell and Bogside and take consideration with your parking
  • Please respect instructions from our Safety Team, Club Staff and our Stadium
    announcer. We are here to make your visit safe and enjoyable.

Stadium Access

  • Supporters holding Digital/Printed tickets for North Stand and Southend Stand must use the turnstile Entry/Exit points at Brandywell Road/Southend Park.
  • All Supporters holding Digital/Printed tickets for Mark Farren Stand, and Terraced Zones must use Entry/Exit Points on Lonemoor Road and Gate 19 in the Outer Car Park (topof Greyhound Track)
  • Gate 9 (Inner Car Park turnstiles) is only available to Club Guests/Officials, supporters with mobility issues, and supporters holding tickets for Shamrock Rovers sections
  • All Children must be accompanied by a responsible Adult.

Admission

  • Derry City FC Matchday safety officers will refuse entry to any supporters attempting to
    bring Pyrotechnics, Alcohol, Drugs, metal flag poles, weapons, or any dangerous items in
    the stadium. A robust search operation will be in operation at all entry points.
  • Supporters wearing Halloween masks/face covering will be refused entry to the
    Stadium.
  • Pitch incursions by Home or Away Supporters will be dealt with by Safety Stewards –
    Those responsible will be evicted from the Stadium and receive lengthy bans from
    attending Derry City FC games.
  • Use of pyrotechnics/Fireworks will be dealt with by safety stewards – Those responsible

    Games.

Tickets for the fixture remain on sale in ticket outlets with limited tickets available online.

This season has season some of the largest crowds in recent history, as the North Stand has boosted the capacity of the Brandywell.  Ahead of the final fixture, we would like to thank all supporters who have got behind the team at home and on the road this year.  Positive results over the coming two game days will see City return to European football for the 2026 season.
