Tottenham and Everton team news
Thomas Frank will still be without several key players ahead of the trip to Merseyside. Mathys Tel remains a doubt with a calf injury, while Ben Davies is not expected back until late November due to a muscle issue.
Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie are both dealing with minor problems and could return within days, while Radu Dragusin faces a race against time to be fit after a cruciate ligament concern.
Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma are also sidelined until early November, with the latter recovering from a knock picked up recently.
James Maddison remains a long-term absentee, with his cruciate ligament injury expected to keep him out until mid-February 2026, while Dominic Solanke is also expected to return early next month after an ankle issue. Kota Takai is another doubt as he continues to manage a foot injury.
For Everton, Jarrad Branthwaite remains sidelined with a hamstring problem, while Nathan Patterson is a doubt with a knock that could keep him out until late October.
Spurs Web prediction for Tottenham vs Everton
Tottenham are not entirely in the best of form coming into this clash with Everton, making it a very tricky one to call.
The Toffees have been rather solid at home this spell since moving to Hill Dickinson Stadium, as they remain unbeaten, even ending Crystal Palace’s impressive 18-match unbeaten run at their ground.
Spurs, however, despite their poor run, have been a solid outfit away from home and currently boast the best away record in the league, having picked up ten points from four of their away games, remaining unbeaten on the road.
Score prediction: Everton 2-1 Tottenham
