Newcastle fans in love with Tonali as Italy star claims first goal

Newcastle fans are absolutely delighted with Sandro Tonali’s performance in a 4-0 win over Union Saint. Gilloise, while the Italy international claims the first goal for the Magpies.

Tonali put in a big performance for Newcastle last night, contributing to a comfortable 4-0 win away at Union Saint. Gilloise.

The former Milan star thought he had opened the scoring with a shot from outside the box, but later found out that Nick Woltemade had slightly touched the ball, so Tonali’s attempt eventually counted as an assist.

Newcastle coach Eddie Howe joked at the end of the game that “both” Tonali and Woltemade claimed the goal in the dressing room.

Regardless of the actual goalscorer, Newcastle fans seemed to be absolutely delighted with the Italian’s performance last night.

Countless Newcastle supporters on X praised the Italian star, even arguing that the 25-year-old is probably the best midfielder in the Premier League.
