Official: Roma confirm Europa League squad for Nice and leave Dybala out
Roma have officially confirmed their travelling squad to take on Nice in the first round of Europa League fixtures on Wednesday evening, leaving one big name out in Paulo Dybala.
The Giallorossi get their Europa League campaign underway on Wednesday evening, kicking their journey off in France as they take on Nice of Ligue 1.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side are fresh off a 1-0 victory over rivals Lazio in the Derby della Capitale on Sunday, which puts them in fourth place in the Serie A standings after three victories from their opening four league matches.
Roma had to do without Dybala through injury for the Lazio clash in Serie A, and the same will also be true for the Nice game on Wednesday. He has been training individually in the early stages of this week.
There is a boost for Gasperini and his team, though, as Wesley Franca and Mario Hermoso, who both missed out against Lazio, will be available for the Nice match on Wednesday.
