Weekend preview: Women’s FA Cup follows Saturday home double

There's exciting action at home and away for Royal Wootton Bassett Town this weekend. On Sunday Bassett travel to Bristol Brunel in the Adobe Women's FA Cup second qualifying round (2pm kick off). James Lally and his team will be seeking to advance to the third and final qualifying round for a fourth year in a row - and they'll need to avoid an upset if they are to do so as they take on tier seven opponents. Brunel represent tough opposition - and already have two big home wins under their belts in the competition this year. Prior to that there is a home doubleheader on Saturday. In the Hellenic League Premier Division Bassett welcome Cribbs in a contest pitting two sides looking to kickstart their campaigns against one another (Gerard Buxton Sports Ground, 3pm). Bassett will be seeking their first ever league win against Cribbs, with two draws and two defeats in four previous meetings against the Bristol-based side who were relegated from the Southern League at the end of last season. Admission is £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members. Then in the Wiltshire League Premier Division the Development team end a run of four straight home fixtures against Bemerton Heath Harlequins (AGP, 2pm kick off). Admission for that fixture is £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members.
