Season debut for Tickets for Schools
St Fillan's to kick off Tickets for Schools 2025-26
QUEEN’S PARK Tickets for Schools is back for a fifth year – and it’ll be southside schoolchildren from St Fillan’s kicking off the new campaign at The city Stadium.
Yesterday we announced the good news about the popular scheme’s return – with help from the youngsters at Calderwood Primary School in Rutherglen, and Spiders first-team star Carlo Pignatiello.
So far Tickets for Schools has helped thousands of young people see the Spiders – some experiencing live football for the very first time at Hampden, Stenhousemuir or Firhill.
For others it was their first experience watching Scotland’s oldest football club in action – but regardless, it has proved an enjoyable time amongst friends for pupils, parents and sometimes teachers too!
In our new home at The city Stadium the scheme is back and all at Queen’s Park are delighted to be able to restart the scheme for the new season with St Fillan’s Primary our first visitors on Saturday when Greenock Morton come to the southside.
Head of commercial, Kieran Koszary said: “We are delighted to welcome pupils to The city Stadium under our Tickets for Schools banner.
“It was a major driver of mine when I joined the club and it has been a source of great pride to see it grow from strength to strength over the seasons.
“Having it return this season in our new home at The city Stadium is something we have worked hard to achieve and something myself, and all the team behind the scenes at the club, is immensely proud of.
“Thanks to our sponsors who will support the groups throughout the season, to the players who will visit our partner schools and the pupils, parents and teachers themselves for taking part again this year.
“I know St Fillan’s will have a wonderful time and look forward to see their smiling faces on Saturday – and many more throughout the season.”
First-team defender Zach Mauchin dropped by The city Stadium to meet P7 pupils Billie Innes, Bilal Hussain and Milan Lemieszek and hand over their match tickets.
Local businesses will support each school visit and for the turn of St Fillan’s it’s QPFC neighbours Howden on Carmunnock Road who will supply food and drink vouchers for the pupils visiting The city Stadium.
