LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The Louisiana Ragin Cajun football game Saturday will kick off a bit sooner than planned.
The game, vs. No. 25 Missouri, will now start at noon at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri. It was originally scheduled for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
After a 14-12 loss to Rice in the season opener, Louisiana rebounded with a 34-10 win over I-10 rival McNeese State to improve to 1-1 on the season.
Missouri (2-0) moved into the top-25 rankings after coming back three times to defeat border rival Kansas, 42-31. The Tigers opened the season with a 61-6 rout of FCS opponent Central Arkansas.
This will be the first-ever meeting of the two teams on the gridiron. The game can be seen on ESPN+.
