Romano: Real Madrid will ‘compensate’ as Como reject another Tottenham bid for Nico Paz
Fabrizio Romano reports that Como have rejected another Tottenham offer for Nico Paz, worth €70m, so Real Madrid will ‘compensate’ if they bring the Argentine back to the Bernabeu next summer.
Como have reportedly rejected a third Tottenham offer for Nico Paz.
Como reject 70m Tottenham offer for Nico Paz
Sky Sport Italia reported on Sunday that the Azzurri had turned down a €50m bid from a North London club, setting Nico Paz’s asking price to €70m.
Romano reported that Tottenham matched Como’s asking price with a new offer worth €70m including add-ons, but Cesc Fabregas’ side still rejected it.
Real Madrid will compensate as Como reject new Paz bid
Paz is formally a Como player, but his former club, Real Madrid, have an option to re-sign the 20-year-old in 2026 and 2027 for a fee up to €10m.
Given the enormous gap between Tottenham’s offer and Real Madrid’s option to re-sign the exciting attacking midfielder, the Merengues will ‘compensate’ in the future, according to Romano, meaning that they’ll pay much more than €10m if they decide to bring Paz back to the Bernabeu in the future.
In the meantime, Paz scored and assisted in Como’s 2-0 win over Lazio on their 2025-26 Seie A debut on Sunday.
