ThrillhouseI think Luton have a better, deeper, more experienced squad
Cardiff have a lot of kids and have retained the core of a squad that’s been stinking out the Championship for years - if they hit a tricky spot, I’m interested to see how they react to it
Their manager is promising, but I don’t think he’s got the resource available to him that Davies did with us
Cardiff looked decent against Peterborough first game and played in a similar style to ourselves. They may have a lot of kids but they were good. Rubin Colwill is a standout player for them so has to stay fit.
In contrast Luton under Bloomfield were dull as dishwater and were very lucky to get 3 pts against Wimbledon. They lack any sparkle, more workmen like.
The form since reflects that albeit very early doors. Assuming squads remain similar, I see Cardiff challenging for automatic. Luton maybe scrape into top 6.
Cardiff wont get near 100 odd pts, once injuries and squad strength gets tested. League 1 is wide open this year compared with last.
