Video: New Milan right-back Athekame arrives to complete transfer from Young Boys
Recently released footage confirms that Zachary Athekame has landed in Italy and is ready to complete his transfer to Milan from Swiss outfit Young Boys.
The Rossoneri struck a deal with Young Boys for a fee of €10m for the 20-year-old defender, which includes bonuses and add-ons. The Swiss side will also retain a 10% sell-on clause.
Athekame is set to become Massimiliano Allegri’s second defensive addition of the week, following Wednesday’s announcement of the signing of Koni De Winter in a permanent deal from Genoa.
They follow previous summer signings Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci, Pervis Estupinan and Pietro Terracciano.
