Dev Squad Face Forfar In KDM Evolution Trophy

The Hibernian Development Squad begin their KDM Evolution Trophy campaign with a trip to face Forfar Athletic!

The wee Hibees will travel to Station Park on Tuesday 12 August, with kick-off at 7:45pm, in their first league phase match in the competition.

The Lowdown

Hibs, who are classified as an Under-21 side for this competition, head into their first KDM Evolution Trophy fixture following a restructure to the entire tournament.

Our Dev Squad enjoyed a positive pre-season, picking up multiple wins against senior squads, while Hibs Under-19s have secured two wins from two to start their 2025/26 CAS Elite Youth League campaign.

Their most recent outing came against Motherwell, with a Jamie McMurdo brace sealing a 2-1 win on the road at Dalziel Park.

The Hosts

Forfar Athletic have made a strong start to their William Hill League Two campaign, avoiding defeat in both of their league matches so far.

A goalless draw against Clyde on the road followed up a solid opening day 1-0 victory over Stranraer at Station Park.

These results have Forfar sitting third in the league table on four points. 

The Loons also gave a respectable showing in the Premier Sports Cup group stage. They defeated second-tier side Arbroath, drew against Annan Athletic before winning on penalties, and lost to Premiership and Championship outfits St Mirren (2-3) and Ayr United (0-3), respectively.
