Milan working on double deal and still holding out for Vlahovic
Milan are working on a double deal to bring in defender Zachary Athekame and midfielder Ardon Jashari, but are still hoping to strike a deal with Juventus for centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic to round off a busy summer.
Athekame and Jashari close for Milan, still dreaming of Vlahovic
The Rossoneri are finalising the last details of an agreement with Young Boys for the arrival of right-back Athekame in a package that is expected to cost around €10m total including bonuses.
The 24-year-old has decided to join Milan this summer, despite having other offers elsewhere.
There was also a breakthrough in negotiations with Club Brugge for Ardon Jashari on Monday. The Rossoneri are still waiting for the final approval from the Belgian side, who are already beginning to surrender.
That might not be it for Massimiliano Allegri this summer, as Milan are also still holding out for a deal with Juventus for Vlahovic. The Bianconeri striker is right at the top of the head coach’s wishlist.
The situation could change, particularly if an enticing offer from the Premier League were to arrive, but the Milan option genuinely appeals to the Serbia international. A Rossoneri offer will be considered if they are able to satisfy Juve’s demands.
