Queen’s Park v Glasgow Women – Match preview

Queen’s Park Play Glasgow Women FC at Springburn Park on Sunday, 3rd August in a behind-closed-doors pre-season friendly. Kick-off is at 1pm.

Queen’s Park meet fellow SWPL2 side Glasgow Women FC in their penultimate pre-season match.

Sunday’s fixture will be Queen’s second match this week after they beat Birmingham City U21 in Largs on Tuesday night.

Speaking ahead of the Glasgow Derby, Head Coach Iain Robinson, said: “It’s another opportunity to get minutes for all in the squad. We’re looking to build upon Tuesday’s good performance against Birmingham City 21s.

“There were lots of positives to take, but also things we’ll need to improve on. For us, the results haven’t matched how well we’ve played in all friendlies, so we’re looking to be more ruthless at both ends of the pitch.”

Spectators are not permitted at the match.
