Ten man Seagulls beaten by Canaries

0 0

COLWYN BAY, who had to play over 50 minutes with ten men, were beaten 3-0 by Caernarfon Town in the first round of the Nathaniel MG Cup at Llandudno in front of a big Friday night crowd

The key moment of the game came on 38 minutes when Bay defender Sol Forde was red carded for a foul in the area and Caernarfon’s Zack Clarke scored from the spot.

Caernarfon were always on top after that and added further goals late in the game from Adam Davies and substitute Connor Evans to ease into the next round.

Colwyn Bay rarely troubled Caernarfon keeper Connor Roberts, although he did have to save efforts from a Sam Hart free kick and Louis Robles late in the game.

COLWYN BAY: Rhys Williams, Sam Hart, Nathan Peake, Lewis Sirrell, Sol Forde, James Owen, Louis Robles, Ethan Roberts (Issa Kargbo 87), Aaron Williams(Matty Hill 65), Rhys Nash (Josh Carey 65), Owen Davies (Aron Williams 40). Subs: Luke Murphy (G), Dan atkins, Max McGoona.
