Bomb Squad...
I don't think we'll see much movement on transfers for a while, at least until some of the bomb squad are moved on. Which is a shame, because I think we need a few more in if we are going to push the play offs.
However it's our own fault. I imagine Dykes is on a very decent Championship wage, and he'll be hard to shift. I have absolutely no idea why we signed him last season, truly awful goalscorer at the best of times. Sanderson will need moving on and (albeit no shock here) there doesn't seem a huge clamber for his signature. The Sampsted one is tough, he's decent but his athleticism (something this squad lacks from front to back) will hold him back in the Championship. Leonard seems to be staying out for now, I think it would be silly to lose him currently, especially as Fujimoto has some clouds around his injury record (including an awful injury not too long back). With Blues apparently close on Davies what does it mean for Bielik? He's a good leader, well liked in the squad, a decent option but won't want to be 5th choice.
TGH is an interesting one, he's very versatile, a good character and on his day a very decent player, however if we continue to strengthen (like we should if the owners are truthful about their lofty ambitions) and when 90% of the squad are fit, where does he get game time?
Finally Scott Wright. One of our only players who's got serious pace and carries the ball well but again, with us continuing to strengthen, when does he play?
The obvious ones: expecting Chang, Hall and Roberts all to move on loan/permanently.
