Besiktas to contact Mancini to replace Solskjaer as head coach
Besiktas are considering a move to make Roberto Mancini their new head coach, as reports from Turkey claim Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on the verge of being sacked.

Solskjaer in trouble as Besiktas contact Mancini
Besiktas failed to qualify for the Champions League and were defeated 4-2 at home in the first leg of their Europa League qualifying match against Shakhtar Donetsk. This has applied a huge amount of pressure to the Norwegian head coach and the Turkish club are already working on a replacement.
Aside from Mancini, the club are also considering bringing back Sergen Yalcin. Yalcin won both the league and Turkish cup with Besiktas in the 2020-21 season, before resigning the following season. The 52-year-old reportedly wants a one year contract to return to his old club, with an option of a second.
