Buck’s Bar Southside is Back to crown Player of the Month
CALUM FERRIE was a regular at Buck’s Bar Southside last season – landing a hat-trick of Player of the Month awards.
Who will be the most frequent Spiders star visiting the restaurant at 1021 Cathcart Road his season?
Spiders supporters will have their say on that subject now the new campaign has kicked off – and what IS for certain is the rock’n’roll chicken restaurant IS back with the club and sponsoring the player of the month award for a third season in a row.
, based just around the corner from The city Stadium is one of the Buck’s collection of restaurants, which all serve Chicken and Vegetarian meals, as well as sumptuous sides, which can be eaten along with your choice of one of the 50 Hot Sauces from across the world.
It’s one of a growing stable of restaurants including city centre venue Thundercat and westend partner ThunderDog, but you’ll spot local restaurant Buck’s Bar branding around The city Stadium every matchday – as well as numerous initiatives throughout the season.
Just last month Battlefield Primary School pupil Corrie McPhee was the winner in a ‘Design a Buck’s Shake’ competition, run across local schools and we are delighted to say that the competition will be back, just like Buck’s, this season.
You can taste ‘Corrie’s Cozy Campfire’ on your next visit, where you might bump into the club’s player of the month who will win a meal in the restaurant for their performances on the park.
Spiders vice-captain Charlie Fox paid an early visit last week to say thank you to a valued club partner ahead of July voting opening THIS FRIDAY.
Queen’s Park’s Head of Commercial, Kieran Koszary said: “I would like to thank Michael and his fantastic team at Buck’s Bar Southside for their continued support. Our partnership has been an exciting one over the past two years as it has allowed fans to vote for their Player of the Month and for the winning player to enjoy an evening at Buck’s Bar Southside.
“We are delighted this is continuing.”
Bucks Southside commented: “We all enjoy supporting our local team and their community programmes. The Player of the Month Award was always well supported and everyone at Bucks took an interest in who the winners would be.
“We look forward to seeing the winners, and welcoming the Queen’s Park fans to the restaurant, over the coming season.”
Further ‘Chicken and Rock ‘n’ Roll’ restaurants are available at West Regent Street and Trongate, in Glasgow as well as in Grindlay Street and Hanover Street in Edinburgh with full details of Buck’s found HERE.
