Al-Nassr now aspiring to sign £50m Man Utd star after Joao Felix transfer - report
Manchester United are likely to focus on player sales over the next few weeks.
The club have spent more than £130 million on three signings this summer.
Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon have already made their friendly debuts, while Bryan Mbeumo is anticipated to do so against Everton in early August.
The Red Devils are now expected to pay attention to outgoings.
Al-Nassr recently signalled their interest in buying Antony, and UOL claim that the Red Devils want at least £50m to part ways with the Brazil international.
It remains to be seen whether the Saudi giants come forward with a formal transfer bid, having recently agreed to sign Joao Felix from Chelsea for £44m.
Man Utd need to secure the best deal to offload Antony
The 25-year-old has had a frustrating career with the Red Devils, registering just 12 goals and five assists from 96 appearances across all competitions.
However, he showed plenty of life during his loan spell with Real Betis earlier this year. He managed 14 goal contributions from just 26 appearances.
The Andalusian outfit are open to pursuing another loan spell for the winger, but United are focused on securing a permanent transfer this summer.
Al-Nassr recently made an approach to the Red Devils and have been told to pay £50m.
The package seems justifiable, given that Felix has signed for Al-Nassr for £44m, including add-ons, despite a forgettable loan spell with AC Milan last term.
He signed for the Rossoneri at the beginning of the year, but registered just three goals and one assist from 21 appearances across all competitions.
Aside from Felix, the likes of Noni Madueke and Anthony Elanga have gone for over £50m plus despite having similar campaigns to Antony last season.
Al-Nassr are United’s best solution to secure the asking price, but the big question remains whether they will pursue a deal for Antony after Felix’s arrival.
The Saudi giants have recently received an offer from Al-Qadsiah for Otavio. His departure could pave the way for a potential bid for Antony in the coming days.
