Old Guard vs New Blood

With so many new managers in the league we’ve got a massive head start and competitive advantage over half the league, we’ve got our identity, we’ve got our patterns of play etc. Some teams will get up to speed with this very quickly many will need a bit longer before they are there.

Do we keep as much of the old guard in our early starting line ups as possible and drip feed the new players (with 2/3 more yet to arrive I’d say) to really give ourselves the best chance of a bit of a lead while the other managers are warming into their clubs or do we accept that many of the new guard will improve us long term and therefore prioritise bedding them in straight away to get them up to speed quicker and give us more of an advantage a little bit later into the season
