El Aynaoui agreement for Roma, who set Rios deadline
According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma have set a deadline for Palmeiras over Richard Rios, so reached a verbal agreement with RC Lens for Neil El Aynaoui at €25m plus bonuses.
This is the same figure that the Giallorossi offered to Palmeiras for Rios, but they are frustrated that the Brazilian club continue to raise their expectations, well aware that they are being used as part of a bidding war.
His club is encouraging this competition between Roma, Benfica, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest, hoping to get €30m plus add-ons.
Roma lock down El Aynaoui, tired of waiting for Rios
Now the Italians are tired and Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio warns they’ve set a deadline of Friday morning for Palmeiras to accept or they will move on to their alternative.
It had been known for a few days that this was El Aynaoui and this evening it is reported Roma reached a verbal agreement with Lens worth €25m plus bonuses.
If Palmeiras don’t change their tune, then on Friday the deal will be done with Lens and El Aynaoui will be their new midfielder.
