Three Premier League clubs are ‘weighing up a move’ for Man United outcast

0 0

Forward Alejandro Garnacho is determined to leave Manchester United this summer, and has several suitors.

United have allowed the Argentine to return to Carrington for pre-season, but he is not training with the first team.

Garnacho wants to stay in the Premier League and has rejected an opportunity to join Al Nassr. Also, he showed no interest in joining Napoli, who were linked with him earlier in the transfer window.

According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa are now weighing up a move for the 21-year-old forward.

The Blues have a long-standing interest in Garnacho, having been linked with him in the January transfer window.

The west London side have already added a left winger in Jamie Gittens to their squad but are also said to be interested in signing another, which could be the United academy graduate.

Villa are also exploring the possibility of signing Garnacho due to the lack of quality on the left side of their attack.

The Midlands side bolstered that position by signing Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus and Lewis Dobbin from Everton last summer, but had to loan them out, suggesting a lack of trust in the duo.

Tottenham are likewise monitoring the situation of the Argentine youngster as they seek to add more quality to their attack.

Captain Heung Min-Son is their only notable left-winger, but there is uncertainty regarding the future of the 33-year-old with the north London outfit.

Atletico Madrid are also interested in reuniting with him, having left the club as an academy player, but his preference to stay in England makes the move unlikely.

Despite the several interests in Garnacho, it is unlikely that any potential suitor meets his £70 million valuation ‘considering his fractious fallout with United’.

The Red Devils may need to reduce his price tag to facilitate his exit.
