Transfer fee for Juventus revealed as Barrenechea set to leave Aston Villa for Benfica
The transfer package is reportedly worth €15m, which, according to Goal.com, means Juventus will earn approximately €1.5m.
The Bianconeri, in fact, agreed to a 10% sell-on clause when they sent Barrenechea to Aston Villa last year.
The former Frosinone and Juventus midfielder spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Valencia, scoring one goal and providing two assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
Barrenechea won’t make Aston Villa debut
This means Barrenechea will leave Aston Villa without making a single appearance for the Premier League side.
The 24-year-old midfielder has collected 39 Serie A appearances, three with Juventus and 36 for Frosinone.
Benfica have already booked his medical tests, and according to Romano, the midfielder will sign a contract until 2030.
