Jashari could skip Club Brugge training while waiting for Milan
Reports in Belgium suggest that Ardon Jashari’s availability for the start of Club Brugge’s pre-season training is still unconfirmed while he waits for updates ahead of a potential move to Milan.
Milan have been attempting to sign boyhood supporter Jashari for several weeks already, but have reportedly hit a bit of an impasse in negotiations with Club Brugge.
The Belgian outfit are adamant that they are holding out for their requested €40m price tag, while Milan’s latest offer, which is considered final, stands at €32.5m plus €5.5m in bonuses for a total of €38m.
Where Milan stand in Jashari negotiations
Belgian outlet HLN claims that not a lot has changed in negotiations between Milan and Club Brugge over the weekend, but the situation could soon change as Brugge begin their pre-season preparations.
Jashari has not been involved with the Club Brugge first-team squad so far this summer, not taking part in their first friendlies of the summer against Rangers or Raków Częstochowa. He was also absent for the club’s annual fan day, and was not part of the 2025-26 kit launch, either.
HLN confirms that Jashari was given an extended break given the circumstances of the negotiations with Milan.
Club Brugge are due to officially begin their pre-season training at the club’s base in Belgium on Tuesday. Jashari is expected to report for training, but HLN claims that it is still ‘doubtful’ whether the 22-year-old actually turns up or not.
However, Monday’s report claims that Jashari will not change Club Brugge’s stance if he fails to report for training. The Belgian outfit are still expected to hold out for their requested transfer fee regardless.
