Atalanta target Juventus outcast as West Ham close in on Diouf deal
Atalanta are reportedly turning their attention back to Juventus outcast Filip Kostic, after Premier League side West Ham close in on a deal for La Dea target El Hadji Malick Diouf.
According to what has been reported by TuttoAtalanta, Atalanta are still on the hunt for a new left-back after the sale of Matteo Ruggeri to Atletico Madrid. The Bergamo club had identified Slavia Prague left-back Diouf as an ideal replacement but the English press are now reporting that West Ham are closing in on a deal for the defender worth a total package of £27 million.
After Diouf, La Dea set eyes on Juventus’ Kostic
After missing out on the Senegalese international, Atalanta are now once again pursuing a move for Juventus’ versatile Serbian.
The 32-year-old spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan with Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce before returning to the Bianconeri this summer. He played twice for Igor Tudor’s side in the Club World Cup but appears to be on the transfer list as Juventus attempt to overhaul their squad ahead of the new season.
