Tottenham open negotiatons to sell £15 midfielder as club officials fly to London

0 3

Fenerbahce are now accelerating their efforts to sign Yves Bissouma, and they have now taken a big step towards striking a deal to land the Tottenham midfielder, according to reports from Turkey.

Since the start of the summer, several outlets have claimed that Tottenham could cash in on Bissouma, who now has just a year left on his contract at the North London club.

At the start of this week, it emerged that Juventus are eyeing a move for Bissouma after learning that he might not be part of Frank’s plans at N17.

However, over the last few days, it has emerged that Fenerbahce have moved to the front of the queue to land Bissouma, and the Turkish club are now seemingly taking steps to beat the Serie A club to the 28-year-old.

Fenerbahce have begun discussions with Tottenham and Yves Bissouma

Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has now taken to social media to reveal that club-to-club talks between Tottenham Hotspur and Fenerbahce have now begun.

He revealed that a representative from the Istanbul club has now flown to London to hold negotiations with Daniel Levy and co.

In a subsequent update, Sabuncuoglu also revealed that Fenerbahce have also begun talking to Bissouma, who is currently in pre-season training at Hotspur Way.

Jose Mourinho is driving Fenerbahce’s interest in Yves Bissouma

Just a couple of days ago, it emerged that Jose Mourinho is extremely keen on landing Bissouma and the former Spurs manager was the one who was pushing Fener to conclude a deal for the midfielder.

Interestingly, Sabah previously claimed that Bissouma is in favour of uniting with Mourinho in Turkey.

The same outlet backed Fener to launch an offer of around €15m (£13m) for the former Brighton man. It was claimed by GiveMeSport last week that Tottenham want £15m-£20m for Bissouma.
