Report Inter send transfer ultimatum to Calhanoglu
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have informed Hakan Calhanoglu’s agent Gordon Stipic that he has time until the end of July to find a new club for the Turkey international; otherwise, he’ll stay at San Siro for 2025-26.
Inter are open to letting Calhanoglu leave in the summer as long as the Turkish star brings an offer from any interested club before July 31.
Inter held talks with Calhanoglu’s agent
According to Gazzetta, that’s the time limit set by the Nerazzurri in a call with the midfielder’s agent Stipic on Tuesday.
Inter’s pre-season begins on July 26, and the Serie A giants want an offer on the table by the end of the month; otherwise, they’ll be ready to retain Calhanoglu despite his recent dispute with captain Lautaro Martinez.
Calhanoglu has reportedly received a €10m-a-year contract offer from Galatasaray.
Inter deadline for Calhanoglu’s transfer
Gazzetta reports that Calhanoglu has not yet spoken directly to Inter executives, nor has he submitted a transfer request through his agent.
As Football Italia reported last month, Inter are unwilling to sell Calhanoglu for a low transfer fee as they aim to earn at least €25-30m from his departure.
