Chivu holds Inter transfer meeting
As reported by Gazzetta, the summit took place at the Inter headquarters in Via della Liberazione, Milan.
Chivu joined President Beppe Marotta and directors Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin to discuss the latest transfer updates.
According to the report, Ederson emerged as a genuine target for the Nerazzurri as the Brazilian has been identified as the ideal replacement for Calhanoglu.
Inter must sell players to sign Ederson
Gazzetta confirms that Atalanta’s asking price for Ederson is €60m, as Football Italia reported last week.
Chivu is aware that Inter will need to sell some of their players, including Hakan Calhanoglu, this summer to finance the deal.
The Turkey national team captain hasn’t formally asked to leave the club despite the not-so-hidden interest from Galatasaray.
Inter have already spent over €70m on new signings this summer.
