At approximately 01.00hrs last night I watched as a Police helicopter flew, noisily over my house in a well drilled, designated manoeuver. Obviously someone from the nearby prison had absconded and the choppers infrared, heat seeking camera was being utilised. Whilst watching it's suddenly dawned on me... Who did manufacture Roger Moore's sweaters during his early modelling days? I managed to find the following information, Roger Moore's early career included modelling knitted sweaters for Patons & Baldwins, a Darlington wool firm, in the early 1950s. He was featured on the front of many of their knitting patterns. While he modeled for them, he was never required to come to Darlington for photoshoots.
