Tottenham set to receive bid from Champions League club to sign Richarlison

Richarlison appears to be nearing an exit from Tottenham Hotspur, with the Lilywhites expected to receive an offer for the Brazilian over the next few days.

At the start of the transfer window, it was reported that Richarlison wants to leave Tottenham in search of regular game time this summer.

According to reports, Thomas Frank’s arrival has not changed Spurs’ stance on Richarlison, with the 28-year-old allegedly not in the Dane’s plans for next season.

This was backed up just a few days ago by The Sun, who claimed that Frank had given the green light for Richarlison to be sold.

Galatasaray are set to submit an offer for Richarlison

A couple of weeks ago, it emerged that Galatasaray were eyeing a move for Richarlison, and it has now been claimed that the Turkish club are ready to step up their pursuit of the Tottenham Hotspur man.

This report comes from journalist Jorge Nicola, who has said on his YouTube channel that the Istanbul giants are ready to make an offer for Richarlison over the coming days.

The journalist claims that Tottenham have been engaged in transfer discussions with various clubs about the 27-year-old over recent weeks.

Clubs from Saudi Arabia have been in contact with the player’s camp for over a month but it is Galatasaray who have emerged as the frontrunners.

While a deal is far from finalised, talks are currently ongoing and a move to Rams Park is now a ‘serious option’ for the former Everton man.

Richarlison has clear transfer preference ahead of Tottenham exit

Nicola says that even though Brazilian clubs have shown an interest in the Selecao star, the forward has decided that he will not be returning to his home country.

He is expected to either stay in Europe or move to the Middle East and the journalist adds that a deal could be wrapped up soon since Spurs have to raise funds to push ahead with moves for their transfer targets.

It was previously reported that Spurs are ready to accept just £20m for Richarlison this summer, despite paying £60m to sign him from Goodison Park three years ago.
