Call Robert back for new season at Queen’s Park

0 4

CALL ROBERT, the accident repair specialists based five minutes from The city Stadium at Polmadie, are back on the sleeves of Queen’s Park shirts this season.

The company have been in partnership with the Spiders for four seasons already and Euan Murray, who will wear the captain’s armband on his sleeve as well as the Call Robert logo, paid a visit to the workshop on Jessie Street this week.

Previously the accident repair specialists’ logo adorned the Queen’s Park kit shorts, however this is the third year in a row they’re on all three of the team shirts – black and white home, navy blue away and the new-look all-black third strip.

Call Robert’s owner Robert Speirs said: “It is great that a local business can get involved with a local football club and we are only too happy to do that with Queen’s Park – they’re just a few minutes up the road from us here at Polmadie.

“To grow Call Robert people need to know who we are and what we are about and being involved with Queen’s Park helps with that. We’re delighted to see our logo pitchside and on the shirts for the season ahead.

“It was great to see Euan and welcome him to our premises but also welcome him to Queen’s Park as one of the new signings this summer. We really enjoyed meeting him and wish him all the best as captain this season.”

Queen’s Park head of commercial Kieran Koszary added: “Not only are Call Robert one of our established club partners entering their fifth season with the football club, they’re also one of Glasgow’s established and most recognisable brands.

“As I said last year, that is not by accident.

“I’m delighted to have them on board for the new season with the team being led by Euan Murray and am pleased Queen’s Park continues to work with an excellent customer-first business delivering excellent service to the local area.”
