Selim Saied Signs on a two year deal!

The 22-year-old winger joins from National League South outfit Farnborough after spending the conclusion of last season on loan with us, making ten appearances and scoring two goals.

Saied started his career in the youth ranks for National League side Woking where he progressed through the ranks into the first team and earned a senior deal in September 2020 but only made two appearances in the National League.

The winger first signed for Farnborough on loan for the start of the 2021/22 campaign, winning the Hampshire Senior Cup and helping his side gain promotion from The Southern League Premier South.

After an impactful campaign, he made the switch to the Hampshire side permanent in October 2022. Over the previous two seasons, he made 68 appearances and scored 12 goals before signing for Poole on loan in February 2024.

After playing a significant role in keeping the club in the division last season, Saied has now made the deal permanent and signs on a two year-deal for an undisclosed fee.

Upon signing for Poole, Saied said: “I’m delighted to be back, coming off the back of a positive end to last season, hopefully we can push on and achieve big things this year.”
