Hannah Jordan: This Is The Perfect Place For Me

0 2

Hannah Jordan describes Hibs Women as the “perfect place to thrive” after signing for the Club on a one-year deal!

The attacker moves across the city from Spartans to join Grant Scott’s title-winning team ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Jordan scored 13 league goals last season despite Spartans’ difficult season and was also nominated for the PFA Scotland SWPL Young Player of the Year award – the only part-time contract nominee.

“I am looking to make the next step in my career,” Jordan told HibsTV. “And I think this is the perfect place for me to thrive in a full-time environment.

“I was very keen on the move. I think Grant sold it well and seeing the women winning the league, it's great and it's just something that I want to be a part of.

“I'm just looking to settle into the team and hopefully I can accumulate as many minutes as possible across pre-season and go into the season flying.”

The 20-year-old’s versatility will be key for the Hibees this season, with Jordan capable of playing anywhere in the frontline or dropping deeper into midfield.

She was the league’s top scorer outside of the Top Six last season, and is looking to bring that firepower with her to Leith this season.

“I'm an attacking player. I can play anywhere across the front four and I'm very direct.

“I just like to get at opponents. Hopefully I can contribute to as many goals as possible whilst I'm here.

“I'm confident in myself as a player that I'll be able to come here and hopefully contribute as much as I can on and off the pitch. I'm hoping to come and improve as much as I can.”
