Serie A transfers: Three clubs target Esposito, Como want two centre-backs
Cagliari and Parma have inquired about Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito, who remains a concrete target for Fiorentina, while Celta Vigo’s Carl Starfelt and Milan’s Malick Thiaw are among Como’s priorities in defence.
Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito is destined to leave the Nerazzurri this summer and has attracted interest from Serie A clubs Parma, Fiorentina and Cagliari.
Fiorentina, Cagliari and Parma target Seba Esposito
The Sardinians were the latest club to sound out the availability of the ex-Empoli striker, according to sources with direct knowledge of the matter.
The promising centre-forward remains a concrete target for Fiorentina, despite Albert Gudmundsson’s permanent transfer and the club’s desire to retain Moise Kean.
Como moves in defence
Esposito’s contract with Inter runs out in June 2026.
As for Como, the Azzurri remain interested in Celta Vigo centre-back Starfelt, who is valued at more than €10m.
Cesc Fabregas is an admirer of the Swedish defender, who is not an alternative to Thiaw, given that Como want to sign two centre-backs this summer and would be glad to get both.
Celta value Starfelt at €10m plus add-ons, but Como hope to secure the player’s signature for a lower fee, so talks are still ongoing.
