Hoilett Ready For Second Season At Hibs 

Hibernian forward Junior Hoilett joined up with his teammates in the Netherlands after he penned a new one-year deal with the Club!

The experienced forward had an excellent first season with the Hibees – registering nine goal contributions and making an impact both on and off the pitch for David Gray’s side.

The Canadian winger is now ready to do it all over again for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign and explained how excited he was to extend his stay at the Club.

“It is an amazing feeling to sign again, I am happy here!” Hoilett told Hibs TV.

“I have made some great friends and family here. It is a great environment here and I am looking forward to building on what we achieved last season.

“From a football perspective it was an easy decision to make, for family reasons it was a bit more difficult because I have a family that are still in London - but football-wise it was a no-brainer.”

Hoilett admitted that the relationship he has built up with his teammates and the positive dressing room played a big factor in his decision.

“It is great to see the boys again. We are like a family, I’ve had some good time off but I can’t wait to be back on the pitch with them.

“The relationship that we have built off the field is something that will last forever and you can see how that translated onto the pitch with the way we ended the season. It is a great environment here, everyone fights for one another and for the Club – so it was a no-brainer to come back.

“I have enjoyed every minute of it last season, and I can’t wait to get going again.”
