Patriots’ Robert Kraft Reminded of Tom Brady’s Epic Comeback In Men’s French Open Finals

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft made the trip to France earlier this month to watch the men’s final at Roland-Garros, witnessing Carlos Alcaraz come back and defeat Jannik Sinner in five sets.

And with that, it reminded him of when the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons after being down 28-3 in the third quarter.

“I say to my key managers and people in our other business, when people believe something’s impossible, I go, ‘28-to-3,′” Kraft detailed during an appearance on the Adam Schefter podcast. “Think about it, 99.6 percent chance to lose.”

And he compared that to Alcaraz coming back and winning, 4-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (10-2).

“Sinner against Alcaraz. Sinner was up two sets, with three set points, and Alcaraz came back and won that,” Kraft said. “And then won three sets in a row. That was a similar situation.”

What a trip down memory lane for Kraft.

And it seemed like fate that he would be sitting and watching this men’s final that he found to be so similar to one of the Patriots’ most memorable Super Bowl victories.
